Day 8/9 - 4/28, 4/29

I really needed some zone out time after a week of hard riding and over 3,000 miles. My eyes floated in my head as I sprawled on the couch all afternoon, flipping channels and drooling. Ben got back from school in the early afternoon and we drove out to pick up some oil, so I can do an oil change before I leave Arizona, and stopped by REI to get some flip flops so that I could don my shorts and cool off a little in this hot climate. Motorcycle boots and shorts really don't go well together.

We picked up a giant load of groceries and a bunch of beer and some liquor and went back to Ben's to feast. As always, Ben cooked up quite a meal and we gourged and sat on the couch for the evening, trying to digest our dinner.

A good night of sleep, and I painfully ripped myself out of bed at 11:00 am and took a much needed shower. Today I plan to do my oil change and watch more TV, of course.
